SHOULDER PAIN

SHOULDER PAIN

Injuries or disease of the shoulder can cause shoulder pain and can affect any of the ligaments, bursae, or tendons surrounding the shoulder joint. Injuries can also affect the ligaments, cartilage, labrum and bones of the joint.

 We provide relief for:

  • Rotator Cuff Injury is an injury to 1 or more of the 4 muscles in the shoulder. This shoulder injury may come on suddenly and be associated with a specific injury such as a fall (acute), or it may be something that gets progressively worse over time with activity that aggravates the muscle (chronic).
  • Bursitis is inflammation of a bursa. A bursa is a tiny fluid-filled sac that functions as a gliding surface to reduce friction between tissues of the body.
  • Arthritis is a joint disorder featuring inflammation. A joint is an area of the body where two different bones meet. A joint functions to move the body parts connected by its bones. Arthritis literally means inflammation of one or more joints.
  • Tendonitis is an inflammation of the tendon. Tendons themselves are cords of tough, fibrous, connective tissue that attach muscles to bones.
