Four steps to help you feel better faster.

Back in Motion Physical Therapy takes the time to pinpoint the cause of your pain and provide you with a solid strategy for relief. Our treatment process includes the following four steps:

01

Evaluation:

Recovery begins with an evaluation of your entire system. We don’t just look at your one area of pain. We take a whole-body approach to determine the root cause of your pain.

02

Education:

Part of our process is to make sure you understand the reasons why you’re hurting. We take the time to make sure you understand your injury and what your recovery plan will include.

03

Treatment Session:

Every visit we continue to evaluate your ailment. We’ll gauge your progress, and determine how you’re feeling. We continuously focus on your goals and refine our treatment to help you meet them.

04

Exercises:

Our everyday motions occur in multiple directions. Using a unique system of exercises, we develop pain-free exercises that replicate your typical functional motions.

Lower Back Pain

Neck Pain and Whiplash

Neck pain is generally the result of abnormalities in the soft tissue.

A recent study out of the Netherlands has shown that patients treated for neck pain with manual therapy, provided by a manually trained physical therapist, displayed quicker recovery times with less cost.

Shoulder Pain

Injuries or disease of the shoulder can cause shoulder pain.

Chiropractic is the use of non-invasive techniques to promote physical healing. By manipulating the muscles and joints back to a proper state, you’ll remove tension, decrease inflammation, and restore yourself to full mobility.

Knee Pain & ACL Injury

Knee pain is a common reason for people to visit their physical therapist.

Often, knee pain is the result of an injury, such as a ruptured ligament or torn cartilage. But some medical conditions can also bring you to your knees, including arthritis, bursitis, patellofemoral syndrome and tendonitis.

Bio-Ergonomics

Prevention and treatment of work site injuries are critical for employers’ financial health.

With escalating workers’ compensation and group health care costs, prevention and treatment of work site injuries are critical for employers’ financial health. Traditional workers’ compensation programs emphasize adapting the work site to handle employee limitations by implementing ergonomic solutions.

Orthotics

Take a step toward eliminating pain from foot-related issues.

Through the course of your life, your feet take a beating. Daily pounding on hard, flat surfaces takes its toll over time, and numerous problems in the feet, lower back and hips can occur. As you get older, the simple act of walking can become a painful experience.
