Falls are a serious concern for seniors. Falls often result in injuries or disability, they can deprive you of your independence.
Consider the facts:

• Falls are the leading cause of traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and people 75 years of age and older have the highest rates of TBI-related hospitalizations and death.

• One-third of adults 65 and over fall every year. Of those who fall, 20 to 30% suffer moderate to severe injuries that reduce mobility and independence.

• Fall-related injuries account for 40% of nursing home admissions.

Balance Better™ is a new and effective holistic treatment for the kind of balance disorders common to seniors.

Balance Better™ treats functional balance disorders at their cause, helping your brain to more effectively communicate with your muscles, joints and ligaments – something that medications and high-tech computerized balance equipment can’t do.

To help you retain your balance, Balance Better™ retrains your muscles and brain to communicate better. Taught in a safe environment, we train your brain to anticipate the potential for falling as it once did.

Here’s a video describing the Balance Better program.
